Winter in Juneau
My cameras were getting wet from the snow. I was shooting mostly digital, but in homage to photography, shot with Kodachrome film too. It has a similar visual aesthetic to some of my earlier art and I enjoyed the challenge of capturing the feel of Juneau in winter. Everything seemed white and various shades of green from the mountains, trees and water. Sealaska commissioned this print and I’m very pleased with how it came out because it feels like Juneau to me.
